Antidote is an American rock band from Prescott, Arizona, formed in 2022. Inspired by their previous bands, drummer Steven Ciaccio and bassist Devon Ryals approached guitarist and vocalist Neil Mitchell to form and create the band. The trio joined together, each bringing over a decade of musical and live performance experience.
Antidote’s musical style is primarily classified as hard rock but has also been described as a subgenre of rock known as ‘active rock.’ Their style mixes heavy hard rock dynamics with catchy emotive lyrics. A style capable of satisfying hard rock listeners but also capable of appealing to non-hard rock listeners. As the lead guitarist Neil puts it: “it’s hard rock for people that don’t like hard rock.”
